Welcome

Keeping greater La Crosse vibrant
through thriving small, local businesses

Our friends and neighbors form the thread of each small business in our community. Each thread makes up a colorful fabric that gives greater La Crosse authenticity as a community, a vibe that attracts and keeps people here.

People who work for local businesses are our friends and neighbors who:
* Pay 46% of the property taxes alongside you, creating jobs for teachers, emergency personnel, and supporting schools, roads, libraries, and more
* Give you a silent auction item for your fundraiser and give to local churches and nonprofits
* Employ more of our friends and neighbor who pay rent or a local mortgage, buy groceries, shop, take self-care, and are entertained locally
* Keep 2x as much money here locally, paying other local businesses for services and supplies — i.e. creating jobs for other friends and neighbors such as marketers, print shops, accountants, attorneys, suppliers,

It’s getting harder to keep the “local” in small businesses.

The average person who shops locally is age 45 +.
they still shop online 45% of the time.

That’s why small, local businesses created the
Greater La Crosse Small Business Association

so local businesses can connect to, together, support each other
and what greater La Crosse thrive.
